Ammonia Refrigeration Coils

Specialising in the manufacture of Ammonia Refrigeration Coils for Fish Wells, McRaes pipe and tube bending service supplies pre-bent, welded and galvanised panels to allow installation through existing loading hatches.

Although manufactured primarily for the South Pacific based Purse Seiner fleet, McRaes can manufacture, supply and install packages nationally and internationally.

New Coil installation in 1500 tonne Purse Seiner

 Our CAD drawing & design service enables us to:

• Pre-measure and draw the required system.

   

• Accurately manufacture coil panels to alleviate potential hotspots and improve installation.

   

McRaes can manufacture off working drawings or if required, send a technician to the vessel to accurately measure wells .

• Coil sets are supplied complete with cuts and joins marked on drawings to assist installation.

   

 Material Options:

• “Standard” - 1¼” Sch 40 API Seamless line pipe,

   

• “Heavy” - 1¼” Sch 80 API Seamless line pipe

   

• “Stainless” - 1" Sch 40, 316L Stainless Steel pipe.

   

Please Note:

Design options and lead times for material other than our “Standard 5ch 40 or Heavy Sch 80” API Seamless line pipe will need to be discussed prior to manufacture.

Made to order galvanised retaining brackets can be supplied if required. These are welded to the bulkheads.
