This reel is of solid construction, manufactured in steel, with the frame and drum Hot Dip Galvanised for protection. It features a 2" dia. stainless steel main drum shaft and heavy duty flange mount bearings. The drum rotates on bronze bushes and can be easily removed from the main shaft as there is no outer bearing. This allows for different drums to be fitted in a very short time with minimum effort. The hydraulic motor is a geroller style, direct coupled to the drum shaft. A manual friction clutch is included to allow the drum to free wheel for setting. A standard length drum is used with the outer diameter changing to suit the different line capacity's or line diameters.
