  - TUNA LONG LINE PACKAGE. -

 McRaes 30 & 50 Mile Tuna Long Line Reels have been designed & manufactured to give ease of use, safety and low maintenance.

Manufactured in Steel the heavy duty construction is complimented with a Zinc primed and Epoxy Paint finish to give long life in tough marine conditions.

The Level Wind is a Fairlead Roller design machined from marine grade Aluminium & Stainless Steel that layers the Monofilament backbone smoothly onto the reel.

A S/S Tube Guard is mounted in front of the Level Wind Scroll and additional Guards provide for protection over the Level Wind Pulleys and Motor Coupling.

A Radial Piston or optional Geroller Hydraulic Motor is mounted to a cushioned Torque Arm and drives through a solid Coupling to provide accurate alignment and assist with smooth stop/starts.

**Both the 30 & 50 Mile Reels feature new 16" cores to cope with the high haul pressures generated with the Pacific Islands style fishing.

Mono Line Setter

 McRaes Line Shooters are manufactured from Marine grade Aluminium & Stainless Steel.

Corrosion resistant Motor Shafts and Stainless Steel ball bearings in the Idler and Tension Wheels compliment a powder coated Aluminium Backing Plate and Anodised Valve Manifold.

Our Shooters compact Hydraulic design features adjustable speed and tension controls that give effective control over line depth relative to vessel speed and allows the operator to place the bait where it will be most effective.

Used in conjunction with McRaes Tuna Long Line Reels, McRaes Line Shooters are an obvious choice.

McRaes Custom Hydraulics can provide for simple freewheel setting to total control over the Reel from the Shooter when Setting, with complete turnkey packages available on request.
